Hi Kate,

Sorry to hear your recovery was less than ideal. I will tell you that

mine (2 yrs ago) was really a walk in the park, but you don't want to

hear that now do you? (just thought I would add that bit of info for

our yet to be banded members so they don't freak out to much).

I have my fingers crossed that you will be able to enjoy a

nice " mushy " Xmas feed next week and that you will be sleeping happily

on your tummy again in no time at all. Sweet dreams.....

Hiya Kate

Yes take it slowly - that stitch is just something that can happen and its perhaps your bodies way of telling you to back off a little. I had shoulder tip pain for months after eating and I think it was partly a warning to back off and I dont have it now as my fill level is low.

It will get better when you have fill - suddenly once you have a few fills you know that you will be living with a band and this anti climax you are experiencing will be a memory. The band is just the first part, there are several other stepping stones.
