Guest guest
I have been on arava for about three years now with no problems. While it didn't solve all my problems it slowed down the damage and pain I was having in my clavicle and shoulder joints. You have to get your blood taken every 6-8wks and no alcohol but I had no side effects from it. I am sad right now though because I had to stop it and my humira because of chronic sinus infections. Good luck! Joy Meredith Pinkerton <mlpinkerton@...> wrote: Hi All, Hope everyone is doing well. I have a bit of a cold, but otherwise doing okay. I had an appointment last week. My rheumy has increased my MTX to 20mg and has also added Arava (10 mg). Anyone else on Arava that can give me some advise? My hubby is quite concerned about the added med as well as the increased MTX. He doesn't want me to start it until I get over my cold. My white blood count is already so low. Any advise?
