Guest guest
, I don't mind you asking, and yes it was in a much older post as to why I stopped all the meds. I developed Vasculitisin late 2005. It was thought to be the result of the Enbrel and the MTX. I stopped them for a while and the Vasculitis started to get better, but at the same time I developed Pyelonephritis. That is a severe infection of the kidneys. I was hospitalized and treated with heavy antibiotics and steroids. That was when the Vasculitis started reversing. I went back on the Enbrel and MTX and the Vasculitis didn't return. So we decided it was secondary to the RA and not the meds. But, I continued to fight the Pyelonephritis so my my rheumy decided to stop all the RA meds. In spite of stopping the drugs, I continued to fight the Pyelonehpritis. I was hospitalized about 16 times last year alone. So, now I'm on stronger pain meds and he is deciding what to do with me now.....Marina --- In , " susan100250 " <res0bh3k@...> wrote: > > Marina, I'm sorry that you're suffering such pain, and it does make > one feel worse when a friend or relative doesn't really get it and > thinks you should feel less pain than you actually feel. Guest guest
Wow -- I always wanted to be part of a cornucopia! Can I be the squash? Thanks for bringing a smile to me in the morning. I agree; I've only been in this group for a few weeks, and it is a wonderful source of support and information. Meg in Pennsylvania --------------------------------- Looking for earth-friendly autos? Guest guest
Marina, I'm so sorry to hear that you've had so many problems with infections! It must be rough for you. I'm hoping they'll be able to soon put you on some additional meds that will ease your pain and not aggravate your other conditions. Take care, > > , I don't mind you asking, and yes it was in a much older post > as to why I stopped all the meds. I developed Vasculitisin late > 2005.
