Hi Danna,

I hope you get this message before you go tomorrow.

I know exactley how you are felling. I was banding 4 months ago with Dr

Leibman and I remember wondering what the fill was like. I am scared to

death of needle so that didn't make it any better.

I just wanted to tell you that I was unbelievably suprised with the

fill. The only discomfort I felt was Dr Liebman pushing around trying

to find my port as I apparentley have a difficult one. I didn't even

know that he had put the needle in.

So all in all it was actually a great experience. NOTHING at all what I

thought it would be like.

I wish you all the best and I look forward to hearing how you went.

Cheers

While we are on the subject of first fills - what happens when you are

getting your fill done in radiology. My doctor has informed me that's

what we're doing for my first. Do you know how long it takes? Will I

get to " see " my band?

Cheers,

kate

hi Kate,

I actually had my first fill in radiology as well. Sounds like we are

on the same journy. It takes about 35minutes.

They lie you down and get you in positon on the xray bed. Then he find

the band with the xray and then put the needle in. Then they put the

bed up so you are alomst standing and ask you to drink. It is so cool.

You can see the band working. Then they can put more or less fill in

depending on what they think you need.

Good luck and call me if you want to chat. 99977867.

Cheers
