Guest guest
Hi AnneMarie, Within 24 hours of getting my hand injected, and being put on oral prednisone, my hand relaxed, and it hasn't happened again to anything like the same extent. I don't know for sure, but my rheumatologist lead me to believe that this was just a part of the RA, and that when we find the drugs that work well to control the RA over all, the tendon problem is likely to be controlled right along with the rest of it. I sure hope so, because it was EXTREMELY painful, as well as making my hand completely unusable. --- In , " AnneMarie Ichiki " <amichiki@...> wrote: > > Dreamer, and Tess > first off, thanks for your answers to my question. > > When I went looking for info. about the Dupuytren's contractures the first > site I saw had some nasty operation photos, and I was hoping it wouldn't > come to that! lol > I went to my rheumy today and he looked at both palms and asked me whether I > wanted an injection in both, or if I wanted to choose the worst hand!
