Guest guest
I had a nice break... no real complaints. I got to eat lots and lots of entree sized meals, pb them up and still maintain my pre christmas weight. It is all sooooo hard sometimes. I suppose two years ago I would have been 5 kilos heavier post christmas and holidays so I shouldn't complain, but bloody hell, I have walked every day, eaten less than I do in Sydney and still not loose - go figure. Anyway - whinge for the week over and I cannot wait to see you again either. Looking forward to it. Mel > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Well... I am home. Guest guest
I am definately planning to catch up with you the week of 's luncheon, that is if I'm not in hospital. I have Nic's dreaded disease, of gallstones! Has been ongoing since Oct but at first I thought I may have had a slip or a hernia but then someone described their gall bladder attacks and it hit the nail on the head. I raised it with my band Dr last Thursday who's pretty sure that's what it is and am being sent for ultrasound to confirm. I had a really bad attack last night (self inflicted comfort eating - fixed with some panadeine forte) but am now eating only low fat foods. I originally couldn't get in for my ultrasound until 12 Feb but had a call yesterday to say there was a cancellation next Thursday. Doesn't matter much anyway as I'm not going back to the surgeon until 14 Feb. But I guess if I need to go to the hospital before then I'll already have the scans. If he does decide that I'll be having surgery I'll hopefully have it around the same time as Mazz (provided things don't get too bad before then), as it's really on the only time I can fit it in LOL. And I'll love the break from work! Congrats on maintaining your weight. I totally hear you about normally putting on 5kgs!! And I totally understand your frustration about eating less, walking more and still not losing!! Damn frustrating for sure. Exercise is my BIGGEST downfall. I LOATHE IT. But a few of the girls and I from CCB have started walking and swimming laps at the pool on a Monday night so it's a start. And I'm going to try and go for a 20 min walk in my lunch break most days. Want to lose another 20-30kgs this year to get close to / around goal. The 30-40kgs I've lost so far has been EASY. Have barely had to work for it at all but I'm now of the realisation the rest is up to me!! I'm not quite sure what my goal weight is yet but want to get down into the 70's. Catch up soon. Have a great time in Melbourne xxx > > > > > > > I had a nice break... no real complaints. I got to eat lots and lots of > entree sized meals, pb them up and still maintain my pre christmas > weight.
