Guest guest
Hi, I haven't posted for a while. I've been batttling a renewed fight against depression that was caused by my learning that I have Hep-C. My therapist helps me through with it, and I feel like I'm on top of myself again. My walking is worse, but I can still get around and still handle NYC subways. I am not going to let my OA, fibro, carpal tunnel and Hep stop me from doing what I want and going where I want to go. During the depression I managed to get work done, but that took a lot of energy. My rheumy started me on predisone, and so far I'm not feeling any side-effects. This is day five of the three-a-day cycle, and I'll have finished the two-a-day cycle by this Friday 08/18. I'm using lidoderm for my upper spine and tramadol for the fibro and other pains. I asked my rheumy to tell me what hurts where or do all my conditions hurt everywhere. The shoulders, hips and upper spine are osteo, and the elbows are fibro. The fingers are also osteo. I'll be seeing him in a month. I read a mention of cymbalta. My neurologist started me on it, and I was edgy about the stuff. Paxil caused problems downstairs for me and problems women wouldn't have. So far, seven days into Cymbalta, I'm not having those problems. I do think it's reducing my anxiety-depression, though. Again, I won't know for a while.
