Duncan,

On your site you state that BlockBuster All Clear is a " a superior and cost

competitive formula " . You also reference Neprinol which is a similar product

and seems to me to be a more potent formula. Neprinol has 15,000FU vs 1,600FU in

Blockbuster. The Neprinol also contains a more potent form of Serratiopeptidase

vs Serrapeptase in BlockBuster. I'm no expert and might be missing something.

The Blockbuster lists Serrepeptase as 40,000 IU and the Natto as 1600 FU.

Neprinol lists all enzymes in FU units.

Why the different units?

I'm assuming that the FU is the relevant one.

Is there an FU to IU conversion factor?

Thanks,

dlipter

Hi Dennis, I wrote the article a few years ago but let's see what's

changed if anything. The products are dissimilar really; they have

only some common ingredients. Enzymes are listed usually as HUT or

FU, true. I couldn't find quantitative details on Neprinol; here's

what I could find by way of a comparison from the labeling:

Neprinol carries a $199 retail bottle price compared to BlockBuster

AllClear's $50. Neprinol's total potency is listed at 15,000 FU's

(500mg) per capsule, while BlockBuster's serrapeptase alone is listed

at 20,000 IU, not FU. Neprinol's contents are proprietary so it's

hard to get data on it beyond that, but here are the labels:

Your answer was precise but, my not being a chemist or even a closet

nutritionist, after comparing the two products, do you still feel

Blockbuster to be the preferred product? And if price were not a

factor, would you feel the same way?

Your input is always valued.

Thanks

You can get Neprinol for $145 on the net.  I have been using Neprinol for a few

months and am totally impressed.  I had a lot of scar tissue and after 2 months

of Neprinol the scar tissue is gone and I am pain free.

Systmeic enzymes are so important for inflamation control that I think we should

all be taking them.  One note about the AllClear - listed on the " other

ingredients " is titanium dioxide " .  I'm not sure I want to ingest it although

it's great to put on your nose when your'e in extreme sun!

Vitalzym SEB is the parent to Neprinol

Neprinol is a copy.

Vitalzym SEB @ $130./300 is cheaper!

$130/ 9,984,00 FU for Vitalzyme

$150/ 384,000 FU for AllClear

That's assuming that published FU units are accurate. Vitalzym people say that

the FU measured can be quite a bit higher for their product.

Titanium dioxide is a whitener, no nutritional value, perhaps a

carcinogen, magnesium stearate is used to keep machines from clogging up making

capsules no nutritonal value possible carcinogen.

I don't want to ingest either.

,

Be sure to let us know if you find a " clean " enzyme product.

Otherwise I think the benefits outweigh the possible negatives you state.

Vitalzym also includes cellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, and magnesium

stearate.

I don't see titanium dioxide listed.

Re: Re: Systemic Enzymes

Titanium dioxide is a whitener, no nutritional value, perhaps a carcinogen,

magnesium stearate is used to keep machines from clogging up making capsules no

nutritonal value possible carcinogen.

I don't want to ingest either.

Sorry........below is for Vitalzym

Vitalzym SEB only has maltodextrin as an extra ingredient!

Dennis,

This is the product I use. What do you think? They are $100 each if you buy 2.

Ruth,

One bottle of yours gives you 75,150 FU of Nattokinase.

So $200 gets you 150,300 FU of Nattokinase.

AllClear gives you 192,000 FU of Nattokinase / bottle.

Neprinol gives you 4,500,000 FU of combined enzyme activity / bottle.

The only way I know how to evaluate these products is by computing the amount of

enzyme activity you get for your dollar.

As far as the efficacy of the product........who knows?

I think the important thing is the incorporation of fibrinolytics

that break down fibrin, the cause of blood coagulation, stroke, and

fibrosis. This is where Serrapeptase, Seaprose-S and Nattokinase

shine; they can be used to address underproduction of plasmin, the

only fibrinolytic enzyme the body produces, as one ages, where

proteolytics can not. Theyy also seem to work together. In those

respects BlockBuster AllClear has the base covered.

I note that the company has doubled the amount of serrapeptase to

40,000 per 2 capsule serving. That's 2,400,000 FU serrapeptase and

96,000 nattokinase per 120-cap bottle @$50 and it contains the

proteolytic enzyme protease as well. I've seen great results with it

in just days; usually I get the client to get the sale price and give

their spouse half :)

Duncan,

re. AllClear

That's 40,000 IU of serrapeptase.

Not 40,000 FU

IU is a completely different measurement.

Can't compare the two.

Ever wonder why they list Nattokinase in FU and Serrapeptase in IU?

Dennis, Neprinol is in the minority in the use of FU over IU for

serrapeptase measure; I got twice the number of listings that used

IU. There must be a conversion published somewhere.

I wish there were a uniform standard of measurement for enzymes!

Are Wobenzyme N enzymes the same as the ones you are talking about? I am

looking into these for my Mom. She is experiencing lower back pain. Evidently

this is common with ovarian cancer. Problem is the doctors prescribe oxycontin

and fentynal patch. These are heave narcotics and she is not taking them.

Advil does not do the trick.

I was thinking about trying the wobenzyme enzymes but they are very pricey.

Are there different types of enzymes for different things. Seems they all are

quite expensive. Any thoughts?

Yes they are similar.

They are systemic enzymes that are taken between meals away from food.

They do not have nattokinase or serrapeptase.

Lots of info on them...Google them.

Duncan,

This sounds like a good supplement for my Uncle to be taking right now. He was

recently in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. He is out now but they

still do not like the looks of his lungs and he still has clots breaking up and

they are painful for him. They have him on cumadin and warfarin and are telling

him he will be on it for life. Can he take these enzymes instead of or in

addition to the cumadin?

Thanks,

I think the important thing is the incorporation of fibrinolytics that break

down fibrin, the cause of blood coagulation, stroke, and fibrosis. This is where

Serrapeptase, Seaprose-S and Nattokinase shine; they can be used to address

underproduction of plasmin, the only fibrinolytic enzyme the body produces, as

one ages, where proteolytics can not. Theyy also seem to work together. In those

respects BlockBuster AllClear has the base covered. I note that the company has

doubled the amount of serrapeptase to 40,000 per 2 capsule serving. That's

2,400,000 FU serrapeptase and 96,000 nattokinase per 120-cap bottle @$50 and it

contains the proteolytic enzyme protease as well. I've seen great results with

it in just days; usually I get the client to get the sale price and give their

spouse half :)Duncan> > > >> > > > Duncan,> > > >> > >

Dennis,

I have been Googling and the information is mind boggling. Is it better to take

the ones with serrapeptase and nattokinase? AND, can these be taken along with

the Budwig Protocol, do you know? Johanna Budwig did not like the addition of

any supplements.

Yes they are similar. They are systemic enzymes that are taken between meals away

from food. They do not have nattokinase or serrapeptase.Lots of info on

them...Google them.Dennis Re: Re:

I know, lots of info. out there!

I think you first need to determine specifically what you want to

accomplish.

Then find a solution based on your goal.

Some enzymes are targeted towards cardiovascular, some towards sports

injury.....etc.
