Guest guest
A few weekends ago I went on a trip with a friend. It was the first time we traveled together, and we don't get together much at other times because we're both so busy with family and work commitments. When we arrived at the lodge and discovered that our room was on the upper level (accessible only by stairs) she asked me if I wanted to change to one on the ground level. I told her it would be o.k. but then she insisted on carrying everything heavy (including my suitcase) to the room. I was touched by her sensitivity to my RA. There were a couple of times over the weekend when I told her I needed to rest, and she seemed to enjoy the catnaps more than I did! Add tot that the fact that she hid little gifts for me in my shoes, suitcase, etc. throughout the weekend--what a pal! Sierra
Guest guest
That is a good friend, and they are hard to come by, so keep her close! Patsy (63) AZ DX 2005 Stage 1 PBC AIH/SLE/RA
