Welcome!

Did you see a rheumatologist? Do you have morning stiffness? Joint swelling?

Rheumatoid factor positivity is not specific to rheumatoid arthritis. Were

any other lab test results abnormal? Do you have other medical problems?

The treatment your physician prescribed would be for neuralgia, but not for

RA.

Perhaps a second opinion is in order.
