Guest guest
Hi Leeann: I am glad that everything went well at the rheumy's, and that he has already started you on treatment. You are right, prednisone does have some side effects, but it is a miracle drug as far as pain and inflammation goes, though. We do try and keep it as little as possible. Once you are started on a DMARD, which I would hope would be soon, and get the disease process itself under control, that will in turn lessen the pain, and you can get off of the Pred. Do you know what he has planned for you to start on? I am very glad that you are feeling better already, and hope that the reduced pain continues for you. Guest guest
Leeann, I cannot tell you what the prednisone will help you or not, all I know is when I was in the 5th grade they gave me this stuff for my asthma, I blew up like a balloon, did not feel 100% and I still had asthma attacks. take what you like and leave the rest, decision has to come from you. susan happybluerainbow.com Kathe Sabetzadeh <lv2ryd@...> wrote: Hi Leeann: I am glad that everything went well at the rheumy's, and that he has already started you on treatment.
