Guest guest Posted October 20, 2006 Report Share Posted October 20, 2006 you are right when cows leave pasture and go on just hay the milk can change taste but if your tasting a soapy tast I would look at two items first in the bottles soap could be left behind in bottles leaving a soapy taste or the farmer could have not rinsed the bulk tank good enough that could also leave a taste to it but understand if he left a little amount in the tank it would be diluted with each gallon of milk dumped in the tank.
