Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I'm new here, too, and I'm really impressed by this group. You all are so brave in the face of such debilitating pain. I'll be making my first appointment with a rheumatolgist next week after a flare up last week that left me useless for three days. Until now, RA for me has mainly been fatigue and general achiness, and I've opted for no treatment besides trying to watch what I eat and lose weight. I was curious about reading the recent postings about restless leg syndrome. Is that a common problem with RA? I've had RLS all my life (and finally know what to call it...I called it " dancing feet " for the longest time). Anyway, I've found that when I don't eat sugar the RLS disappears. It doesn't take much chocolate (etc.) to bring it back, either. Sue
