Greetings...I am home, now, from an all day session at the Veterans

Hospital....They are going to put a hospital bed in my living room...for me!

It has turned out that I have an extreme ,severe case of " Pitting

Edema " in my lower legs....and this Damnable R.A. has decided to attack my

spine!.

The V.A. has determined that from now on I must always sleep with my

legs elevated, in a position that cannot be attained using a regular bed. Woof!

And I am scared. For those of you who have no idea of what " Pitting Edema "

is....my lower legs are horribly swollen, and look as tho they are terribly

sunburned...and , as I and my wife have discovered, if I push against my leg

with a thumb, say, or a finger, it leaves a terrible indentation, and the

depression left behind STAYS ,for more, even, that one minute....and, to top it

off, my skin is actually " breaking down " , and leaving huge, terrible

bumps...and my skin is so dry, it is peeling off!.

I never thought I would end up having to sleep in a hospital bed in my

own home....or have the chance I could " lose " my legs. .....and I am scared.

Please pray for me? or get in touch with me?

Thank you....and all

my love to you all!
