Guest guest
Dear Steph, Here is some info that doesn't directly answer your question, but is still informative regarding lauric acid. " Coconut oil is nature's richest source of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs). One of the fatty acids in coconut oil, lauric acid, gets converted to monolaurin, a substance that is very supportive to the immune system. It also contains caprylic acid, which is very good for gut health. " Therefore, using coconut oil will be beneficial in dealing with candida. Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman Re: AgriSept etc. Saul, is lauric acid alkaline or is it acid forming in the blood? It would be very important for me to know this before trying it because one dose of something too acidic (oxbile for example) is life threatening to me seriously. So full of acid from the candida my body cannot rid itself of another speck. I drink a half of fresh lemon every morning, take lots of Dr. Schultz supperfood every morning, whey etc..etc.. to try to alkalize myself but nothing seems to be sufficient. I decided to quit eating the one T=bone per week I was consuming to additionally cut down on the acid condition. Anyway, need to know about lauric acid which is in the Lauricidin, whether it is alakline or acid and I am assuming it would be extremely one way or the other? Guest guest
I eat coconut oil like candy and it does nothing at all for the candida. I was thinking of another product that is just lauric acid. My guess is, I would not tolerate it very well because I sometimes have to be careful what I eat it with when I eat the coconut oil or it gives me an acid gall bladder attack. Coconut doesn't mix well with green grapes. Steph
