Guest guest
Fen Phen Settlement Difference: 6 million people were in Fen Phen HOW MANY " THOUSAND " IN DOW? It may have been easier for people to come forward because they tried a drug for weight loss. Do you think people have more respect for a person who is desperately trying to lose weight? They'll even tell everyone at work, gym, etc that they're on a new diet. How many women do YOU know that still have implants that you see the symptoms of silicone poisoning? When I confronted 2 of my friends that have them, they both say they are not parting with their implants. One of them I had been friends with for 15 years, never told me she had implants. I found out from one of her sisters when mine ruptured. They had seen her symptoms & had been begging her to get them out. Now she's mad at her sister. She never wanted ANYONE to know she had implants because all her friends admire her for being such a " natural girl. " I say " Sure you're REAL natural---with all that Kay make-up piled on your face. " sorry, I had to get one dig in here! Another friend has a mother who was implanted years ago due to a mastectomy. Her mother has had almost all the symptoms, even admits they're probably caused from her implants, but still won't part with her implants. Her excuse is she does not want to go through the surgery. She's in her early 70's. We NEED more people to come forward, then we will get MORE press. then Dow will settle. I really thought the Sept. 11th tragedy would make people stronger & make people fight for their rights. Most people don't even KNOW we are suffering. Try this experiment: The next time you go to a doctor's office tell the receptionist you're there because of " this silicone poisoning you have " . If she gives you a funny look, ask her if she know what it is. Chances are she's never heard of it & she WORKS in a doctor's office! The doctor's assistant at my eye doctor's office thought the women who had silicone implants already had them taken out or replaced with saline because she heard that the FDA didn't allow silicone implants anymore. She brought up a good point. If the FDA banned silicone implants then why ARE women ALLOWED to have them still in??? If tires can be recalled why can't the implants? Maybe it's because people are not afraid to come forward & admit they have the tires. That's just my opinion, ( & unlike Dennis says...)...I know I'm not wrong! Mull or maybe due to this poison that's in my system I should start going by " Biotic "
Guest guest
I have said this exact thing pretty much myself, your right. Fen Fen is a great example of something the FDA approved that caused many people to have extremely bad illnesses including pulmonary hypertension, the reason that breast implants are still on the market is that there are so many women who either refuse to see that their illnesses are caused by their implants, or that are so happy with implants that they out number us. Yet I have seen that the women who are so happy with implants, after even 5 surgeries they are happy this to me is unacceptable. I wish there was more I could do about this unfortunately I am the minority, if only more women would speak out about this, in the future it is going to be interesting to see what happens, and sad, when more and more women get ill, but sadly enough, I suspect that many of them will simply fall prey to the Dr's who tell them that their illness is not implant related, and with no one keeping stats on us, there is just no proof about this implant illness. That is the problem with implants. That and the fact that it is a $$$$ big bucks industry. It makes me sad and sick at the same time.
