Guest guest Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 Since the changes of a false positive are so high (20% you said) and you have no pain, I would certainly want more extensive blood work including what you mentioned and did you have an ANA, CRP and further inflammatory studies? The Methotrexate does have a lot of potential side effects and I would hate to see you taking it for no reason. Definitely make sure you have had a complete and thorough workup first just to be safe.
