Guest guest
>>>Great ideas and input on the diet soda issue. One thing that I have found in my research as a minister and as well as a RA patient is the following. In sharing this info. with you is to side with the water as our preferred bev. Did you know that the water content in the body is the same ratio of water to land on the Earth? pretty cool in my opinion. It sure makes me think that there is a reason that our bodies need more water than we give it and not water used for coffee, tea or soda. But boy is it hard to give those things up, lol.<<< Hi Patti, Regarding the topic of water, I wondered if you or others in the group would be interested or have already read a book called, " The Hidden Messages in Water " , by Dr Masuru Emoto? He has done a lot of fringe scientific studies on the power of prayer/intention and how this affects water crystals. The book is stunning in its ramifications, not to mention the images of transformed water crystals that it contains, especially when you consider that we are beings composed of about 60% water and how state of mind affects the body. I'm currently reading Gregg Braden's, " The Divine Matrix " . This book also speaks of the power of human intention and the spiritual principle of " before you have asked you will have received " . The concept behind this is to envision yourself whole and healed already, but not just in a wishful thinking kind of way, but by incorporating the feeling of joy you will feel as a result of complete healing. For anyone who meditates, this is a beautiful, peaceful meditation and can be done anywhere at any time, just by turning your attention to this " feeling-vision " of health for yourself. These studies are pretty incredible when considering our own inner technologies and capacity for self healing, backed by recent discoveries in quantum physics, and worth checking out. We're such powerfully creative beings, yet as I am discovering, chronic pain can so easily turn the mind to negative self-talk and imagining all the worst outcomes. This definitely has an effect on our bodies and one must wonder at the power of turning this around in conscious, procreative ways. Wouldn't it be great to see studies done on this whole topic...even if as a group some of us are willing to try it and check in every once and while to see how people are progressing. Studies have already proven that meditation reduces blood pressure...wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all experience such a miracle of our own design?!!! Peace, n " Expect miracles "
