Guest guest
My RA did not disable me, I am disabled due to a hip injury I received in an accident. I am on Social Security Disablity as a result of that accident. I have RA now and this adds to it. My doctor treated me for five years for the hip injury before deciding he could nto fix the problem, so he filed the papers, and my atty took it to court for me. Now, if your dr will write a letter for you to the Y, they might accept this, it would have to say that due to the RA you need the pool and etc, and you would greatly benefit from it however you are not able to afford their rates. You will have to give them pay stubs so they can substanciate it and if you qualify, you will get it. My income is less than 700.00 a month.
