Thanks Ginger!

I'd been taking a really weak form of ferrous fumarate for the last 3 months,

didn't even know it till I found a good one. Vitron-C it has 200mg of ferrous

fumarate and 125mg of vitamin C. I'll know more when I get the results of my

labs to see if Dr. K wants to prescribe anything stronger.

I've seen your pictures...you look great. You are so brave too!!! Thank you

for making them all available to the rest of us. I always thought plastics was

in my future. Then a couple of months ago I thought...maybe I really don't need

it. Looking in a full length mirror was a reality check. It is so difficult

getting clothes to fit. I'm like a deflated Peanut M & M.

How does anyone pick a bra out?? With that bra overhang thing at the sides.

I went from a 48DD to nothing. Picture a couple of tube socks staples to my

chest with a few grains of sand at the bottom of the socks! LOL At least that

mammogram was really easy this time.

Thanks for the advise on the plastics...I suppose I should start the research

now. I have no idea how much I need to be saving up for! I'm really 10 months

post op...just got off schedule with Dr. visits.

Thanks,

Vicki

Vicky,

Congrats on a BMI of 24 ! WONDERFUL

Iron is easily treated with Trinsicon or one of it's many generics.

I take the generic Foltrin as that is what my insurance will pay

for...2 a day with Vit C and my iron is in the upper range of normal.

As far as the Shapei skin, it can be dealt with ! I know what a

shock it is ! BUT I would not recommend PS at 9 months post-op, as

you may not be stable yet. Start planning maybe, but do not do it

yet. I understand 1 year can be okay, 18 months is better, 2 years

is best as you are very stable by then. I know how hard it is to

wait, as I did....and I am not done as I still have more PS that I

need but I have to finish sclerotherapy first on the varicose veins

first before I can do my thighs.

I think the hardest thing of the DS is accepting the changes to our

wonderful new bodies that are much healthier, but we have abused

them with obesity in the past and unfortuantely that does show.

Congrats on your eyes catching up with the actual body, although it

can be a painful reality check.
