Guest guest
Dear Elan, You have been giving excellent advice, for which I commend you. You have made my job easier! Everything you have said is correct. The enema will help prevent headache, caused by reabsorption of toxins during the fast. In general, I advise 7 liver cleanses, with two weeks in between them. The reason Dr. Budwig didn't want a whole lot of supplements taken at this point was that they all require processing in the liver, and if it is plugged, you get poor response, no response, or even contrary results. In extreme cases (rescues from a palliative hospital) she would administer 500 cc (1/2 a quart) of flax oil by enema. Saved many lives that way... Best of Health! Perhaps you could havesome broth or a little soup the next day if you prefer, or a smallamount of whatever light food you like. The point is just to breakyour fast gently and make your first meal a very light one as you easeyourself back into eating solid food again.>Also I cannot> have grapefruitThat's no problem. Have you taken some time toread through Hulda 's protocol and study the links thateveryone's been giving you so you have a clear and solid idea ofwhat's involved in this process?>If> you were me, would you dump the antibiotic right away and move onto the> liver cleanse? That decision is really up to you, Steph. Maybe this would be a goodopportunity for you to allow yourself some quiet time for somereflection and inner contemplation to listen within. What do your body, heart and mind tell you?> Also what kind of vitaminc C powder could I use? You can skip the vitamin C powder if you want, it's not vital to theprocess. I've never used it and have still successfully passed loadsof stones, chaff and gunk. I think some people just include it tomask the taste of the epsom salts.> One last question concerning the apple juice.> Any suggestions on this?I've done flushes both with and without apples/apple juice and havedone fine either way. From what I understand, consuming them, whilebeneficial, is not necessarily essential to a productive flush.> > I will be ready to roll as soon as I get everything together and figured> out.In addition to reading Saul's recommendations, please also readthrough Hulda 's protocol. The link to hers was given to you inan earlier post a couple of days ago. And have you considered what I suggested about starting small andslowly by making a bit of salad dressing from olive oil and lemonjuice to acclimate yourself to the taste before you go whole hog anddive right into the full flush protocol? You also might considerdoing the same with the epsom salts, starting by dissolving a lesseramount in some water just to familiarize yourself with how it tastes.Something I've noticed from your posts is that you seem to have atendency to go totally overboard with things you think will help you,to the point where they make you so sick you can no longer toleratethem. You mentioned this happening with slippery elm, which you lovedat one point, and now you can't abide it. And I remember you sayingonce that you were eating literally hundreds and hundreds of probioticcapsules over the course of a couple of weeks. Maybe it would be a good idea to just take a breath here, do somereading and get really clear and informed before you plunge headlonginto this process, while also taking some time to do some tastetesting of the olive oil/lemon juice and epsom salts? All I'm sayingis that it's important to prepare for this properly both in your mindas well as in your body. You have time here and there's no need foryou to be in such a rush. - Just my two cents.Truly, the most important things you need to stick to are to: ~ eat no fat the day of the flush prior to fasting~ drink all four doses of dissolved epsom salts (you can squeeze a bitof fresh lemon juice into them if you like) at the appointed times~ lie down directly after drinking the olive oil/lemon juice mixture~ follow the time lines correctlyFrom what I understand, everything else in Saul's protocol has beensuggested to enhance and increase the cleansing effects, but are notnecessarily absolutely required for a successful flush. I do howeverfeel that the enemas are a really good idea if you can do them. And remember, considering your condition, one flush is most likely NOTgoing to suddenly make you well. A series of them is highlyrecommended. And also, adding any other methods of detoxing possible,as long as they're done gradually so as to avoid radical herxreactions, can work in concert to enhance the beneficial effects ofthe liver flushes.elan _________________________________________________________________
