Guest guest
: Hi. You bring up a good issue about capsule and going to an expert in explantation like Feng. I agree those "pro-implant" PS probably will leave you without all the capsule gone. My concern is, as you well know I had my implants for over two weeks time, is that enough time to develop capsule? Funny thing is, I went to a couple PS recently who thought I still had implants in me (b/c I have volume) and they are a little "hard".I had to correct them and say that I was explanted. What if anything do you make of it? As for my OR report, it states nothing about capsule removal. I didn't bother asking the PS about it b/c he's a dirt bag anyway and anything that comes out of his mouth--I have absolutely no faith in. I don't have any symptoms of illness other than fatigue (I chalk this up to depression) and breast pain. I don't want to borrow trouble here, but I'd like some imput/feedback. Thanks. Happy Valentines everyone. -Marie
Guest guest
Ok stay calm, first of all I would recommend the little stuff like 10 glasses of water a day, purified, filtered bottled of course. Then a diet of fruits and veggies and keep things as natural as possible, these are simple easy things to do, for more detailed detoxing go to www.plastikos.com and click on the silicone immune protocol by Dr Kolb, you can do it as much as possible, it is a tough undertaking, I don't stick to it 100% all the time of course, I splurge, however if you can keep close to it as possible that is the best way to go. As for your capsules, I really don't want to scare you because not everyone reacts to them the same way, but if you feel you are still not getting well it may not hurt to look into a second opinion about it, Dr Feng removed a's capsules 5 months or so after her implants were removed (her PS lied to her ) so operative reports can be misleading. I suggest a call to Feng and ask her what she thinks about it all. I know that she did a good job on a and that she found black rotting capsule in her, however it does not sound like you are as ill as I or Gabi so I don't know if this is an issue, I just want you to know that it is something you may want to consider, don't stress or freak out, but research it, check it out. Again, don't panicky, if there is capsule, it can be removed, it will require more surgery, I just know me personally I had allot of it, and it was a pain to remove, that is why most PS's just don't bother, they think it doesn't matter, this may be one reason that later on they can say, well it could not have been the implants because they are gone and their patients are still sick, if you dig deeper the truth is that the capsules are still causing health issues, the body still attacks them and they are full of stuff from the implants, so it could potentially be an issue, that is why I always tell women to make sure to get it is writing ahead of time, use a surgeon who is skilled at this and understand the importance of capsule removal in symptomatic patients, maybe your PS didn't think you were symptomatic, or whatever his reasoning is,but if he is a big implanting Doc chances are he just doesn't get how important it is to get everything out. I know it is tedious, my surgeon told me that it took hours to scrape that garbage out of my chest wall esp. on the ribcage. Did you have under the muscle implants? if so then you may have retained posterior capsules, also Dr Kolb would help you too, she posts on here, so you can ask her opinion on this I know she usually removes capsules as well. Again, no freaking out, just stay calm, heal and do the detox, also you can add fasting and enemas if you can handle that stuff, when you are stronger, I think water and exercise are my best weapons in healing. Good luck and keep us posted, I know we all care allot about you, these PS's just don't seem to get it! It pisses me off so much! Guest guest
I would def have the surgeon who does your mastopexy be an expert in the area of capsule removal just to be on the cautious side, it is possible there could be capsule, I am not sure but it is worth checking esp if you have fullness and pain, ya never know, I am not sure about how long it takes to develop capsule, this would be a good question for Dr Kolb.
