Guest guest
You sound just like me! Except for the part where you are joining a gym. I have no intentions of doing that. I walk a lot at work, unless I am in a hurry, then I take the shuttle or " taxi " as we call it. I eat gobs of food. Changes I have made are related to white flour adn fat. Last Sunday I had half a bagel. Today I might treat myself to another half. I live alone and hate to waste food, so that probably saves me from doing that more often. I have changed the some of the soups I make. I used to make rich, creamy vegetable cheese chowder, now I make lamb and veggie soup. This week was great, though. Since I cut way, way back on the candy and ate coconut instead, I have lost from 149 (after eating) to 141 (morning weight). I realized it was the fat in the coconut when a girl friend cried, " But Marta! Coconut is FULL of saturated fat! " lol I realized what was causing the diarrhea I was having. Good for me! Plus it is full of fiber and a lot of work to chew, so I think we burn off quite a bit of the calories. Wishful thinking, I know. I am going to put that in my diet section.
