Many times, surgery is needed for rotator cuff tears. Try DMSO. It should

help the pain but remember it will make you smell like rotten eggs because

of the sulfur. Osteoarthritis should also be helped by it, and you could

also try Bromelain on an empty stomach and fish oils for inflammation. A

vegetable diet would also reduce your acidity and possibly reduce pain but

that is unpredictable.

Back in February of this year I started to have pain in my right shoulder.

The pain has changed over time, being more or less intense, moving down into

my elbow and up the side of my neck. I have had periods where I could not

undress myself and have even been brought to my knees with pain for minutes

until it subsided. It went from being contantly in pain to only being

painful with particular movements to now being constant and

jabbing/throbbing. I have more movement now than I have for a long time and

haven't had that 'bring me do my knees' pain for some time but it is getting

more and more unbearable just because I am so tired of living in pain.

I had an x-ray done and was told I have either a rotator cuff injury or

osteoarthritis. This was back in April. I was given Ibuprofin and that

actually made the pain much worse when I took it. I stopped and then

started again just to be sure and then started taking Inflameze CMO,

SerraEnzyme and ImmuCell Collagen supplements which I had taken for a

'rippled' miniscus in the past with great success. It doesn't seem to be

helping with this unless the changes in the type and level of pain can be

attributed.

I recently went to see the doctor (Kaiser) again regarding this. A new

doctor and he just wanted to x-ray again. I agreed, not really remembering

that we had already done that back in April so I called and asked for an MRI

instead. I haven't heard back yet.

I'm wondering if there are any other ideas out there. I'm up for just about

anything at this point. I was thinking of something that might be drawn in

with DMSO? I've never used it and don't know what to pair with it in this

case. Any thoughts at all from anyone?

Rose the EFT site is >>>emofree.com<<<

I don't know where you live but you may want to check out a scenar practioner

or a BEST practitioner. Both methods are great. Unless you have a torn

rotator ...surgery is your only option on that.

Dear GR,

Do you know how to do EFT?

It is usually quite helpful in these kinds of variable aches and pains.

Certainly a lot better than drugs.

>Unless you have a torn Rotator ...surgery is your only option on >that.

Um, not exactly the only option. When my Mom had a torn rotator cuff I

called a Bowen Practitioner. Talked to her for quite a while. She had been

a 20 year sports therapist masseuse and had given all massage techniques up

in favor of Bowen. She said it even worked on torn rotator cuffs.

She had a man that was going on vacation, and was scheduled for rotator cuff

surgery when he got back, but had gone to her because his shoulder hurt so

bad he felt he wouldn't be able to enjoy his vacation. She worked on him

and off he went. When he got back he went to her again and told her he'd

cancelled his surgery and was just going to have her work on him.

But my Mom had faith in her doctors so went with that surgery instead. She

d been through a lot of different surgeries in her life, and could really

tolerate pain. But she said that rotator surgery was the most painful she

had ever endured.

And when a few years later it tore again, she put up with THAT pain rather

than go through surgery again. Still--she wouldn't try the Bowen. Just

didn't believe " massage " could work.
