Hi Dana, Nice to hear from you! Thanks for the flyer about your summer program. I saw the word "high functioning" in the description. After seeing Ian a few times, does he qualify? I have never heard anyone refer to him as "high functioning", and I don't know what the definition is.I'm looking for an appropriate summer program for him.Hope you are well!- WisemanMarcus Autism Center is offerring the Camp You B You summer camp again this year with the usual focus on teaching and practicing appropriate play and social skills. We are happy to announce that this year's camp will be held at the Frazer Center in conjunction with their summer camp program. This will allow us to work and practice social skills within an inclusive summer camp setting! The information is below: Who: High-functioning children with autism or related disorders, ages 4-8 who are able to commit to attending one or both three-week sessions of camp.We are also accepting neurotypicalpeers and siblings to participate! What: We’re hosting our Third annual “Camp You B You” in conjunction with the Frazer Center’s summer camp to provide a skill building camp within an inclusive camp setting for high-functioning children with autism and related disorders.
