Don't forget to submit your nominations for the 2012 Impact Awards by Monday, 2/13!_____________________________________________Parent to Parent of Georgia is now accepting nominations for Georgia's 2012 Impact Awards. The Impact Awards recognize individuals whose actions demonstrate, support, or lead to inclusion of individuals with disabilities so they can meaningfully participate in all aspects of life. Award winners exemplify respect and dignity for everyone, regardless of ability, and work to ensure that others embrace these same ideas.  Impact Award winners believe Inclusion means: • Everyone (with and without disabilities) gets the sameopportunities at home, school, work and play. • Everyone has positive social relationships and friendships. • Everyone feels like they belong and has somethingto contribute to society.Previous winners include a high school principal who supports all of his students so they can graduate, a youth minister who uses creativity to build video resumes for job seeking youth, a regular education teacher who is an eager partner in a co-teaching team, and a self-advocate who teaches job skills to individuals with disabilities. Do you know someone who should be nominated for this year's award?  Click here for more information and nomination forms or contact sitara@... or call 1- Nominations are due February 13, 2012
