What: We’re hosting our Third annual " Camp You B You " in conjunction with the Frazer Center’s summer camp to provide a social skill building camp within an inclusive camp setting for high-functioning children with autism and related disorders.

Who: Children with High-functioning Autism or Asperger’s Disorder,ages 4-8 Campers should be speaking in complete sentences and be comfortable in a 1:3 counselor to student ratio. Must be able to commit to one or both 3 week sessions

When: Session 1: June 6-24, Mon.–Fri., 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.                 Session 2: July 11-29, Mon.–Fri., 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Why: Encouraging others, playing games and sharing--these are some of the social skills every child deserves the chance to learn, including children affected by autism and related disorders. Through fun games, campers at Camp You B You will learn these skills within a typical camp environment and have the opportunity to practice these skills in group interactions with neurotypical peers. We will focus on teaching cooperation, following game rules, making new friends, talking with friends, and so much more!
