I would like to invite all of you to our first TACA Georgia Family Picnic! This

is an event for ALL families that have children with autism (all ages and it's

for the entire family). We are working hard to make it an awesome day so please

help us get the word out by sharing this information.

Event details:

Date and Time: Saturday, May 21st from 11:00 - 2:00

Location: Bridge Park, 4000 Bridge Road, Duluth, 30097 (this is

off Peachtree Industrial near Sugarloaf Pkwy)

Cost: Early Registration (before May 1st) $15 for the entire family, after May

1st is $20 for the family. You must register by May 18th (we need a headcountfor

food)

Registration Link: http://www.tacanow.org/store/home.php?cat=283 (or go to the

TACA Georgia website (www.tacanow.org/georgia) and click on the picnic link.

Activites: We will provide a full catered lunch by Shane's Rib Shack (both

" regular " and GFCF lunch options will be available)

Bounce Houses (including a large inflatable slide, an inflatable obstacle

course, the typical bounce houses, and inflatable basketball hoops)

A train ride (adults will be able to accompany their child on the ride!)

Clowns, family games, music, a vendor fair, lots of free door prizes and more.

We recently decided to add a TACA Take a Toy Table. This will be a table loaded

with gently used educational toys (such as therapy toys, puzzles, Leap Frog,

etc). If you see something on the table you think will help your child you can

have it! :)

You do not have to be a TACA member to attend. We want all families with autism

to enjoy this day. The cost of the event is being offset by the following

sponsors: Family Dentistry, New Beginning Nutritionals,

Master-Supplements, Summit Learning Center, Cobblestone Therapy, Dunwoody

Speech. We are pleased to have the A.Skate Foundation and The Cumming Harvest

also be participating in this event.

Our goal is to creat an day/event where families with autism can relax and enjoy

the day. An event where you do not have to worry if your child has a meltdown

because we all understand. No funny looks, whispers, etc...just a fun day with

other families understand autism. SO, mark your calendar, register and invite

your friends!

If you would like a flyer for the event or if you have any questions, please

email me at jackie . moore @ tacanow.org (no spaces)
