I reccomend Gotlieb vision. My son is 14 and also very limited verbally and has

HUGE anxiety issues. This doc was VERY understanding and even worked with my

son in his waiting room becuase my son was too scared to go back to the exam

room. He is in s Creek - 141/Medlock Bridge.

GOOD LUCK!

Our OT is thinking that our daughter may be having difficulty with convergent vision (i.e. her eyes may not be moving / working together). Do any of you have experience with vision therapy? Has anyone had success getting insurance to cover it? Are there any providers that you recommend or don't recommend?

Thanks for any info!

My son struggled with Visual Performance goals for years. He wouldn't look at his work after a few minutes and was very unfocused. He would often look out of the corners of his eyes. He would not work on a computer at all. At age 14, his consultant suggested we have him checked. He was dx'd with strabismus.

Vision Therapy has helped him a lot. He can work for a lot longer and enjoys the computer now.

Our insurance covered some of it due to the strabismus. Most of the therapy was done at home under the direction of a doctor.
