Dear members of the listserv,I received a very good response from the families following my previous posting. There are a couple of spots remaining in the study that are waiting to be filled up. Please see the information below. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have. Warm regards,Geetika=============================================As part of my dissertation research, I am conducting a study on the effects of motivation on conversational skills in children with ASD. I am looking to recruit four participants for this study. In order to participate, children should be between the ages of 6-12 years. Additionally, they should meet the following requirements:They should possess:1. Strong verbal imitation skills (be able to imitate 4-5 word phrases).2. Be able to answer simple wh- questions (what is your name etc.) with minimal to no prompting.3. Seldom ask questions or initiate interaction with others.4. They should not have any problem behaviors. If the child uses language "only" to request preferred items or are non-vocal, they will not qualify for the study. If you think your child meets the above criterion and you are willing to participate in the study, please contact me at or send me an email:geetikaagarwal@... or gaq3f@.... Warm regards,Geetika
