Guest guest
September TACA Meeting* Date: Saturday, September 17th Time: 2:00 - 4:00 PM Location: 's Creek United Methodist Church 11180 Medlock Bridge Rd, s Creek, GA 30097 Topic: Remarkable Breakthroughs for Autism: Getting to the Real Problems Fast Ever wonder what really happened to upset the normal course of your child's development? Original research from Dr Bradstreet points to an ongoing viral infection. The viral infection hypothesis is supported by other research from Professor Persico in Italy which found multiple viruses in the brain of children with autism. This ongoing infection drives the immune disruption, inflammation and allergies behind the behavior we label autism. Breakthroughs in treatment of these viruses have demonstrated remarkably rapid recovery for many children. Progress is also being made with stem cell research combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Additionally, Dr Bradstreet will also discuss the new findings on mitochondrial problems, and folate receptor autoimmunity. Speaker: Dr. Jeff Bradstreet Dr Bradstreet received his medical degree from USF College of medicine and obtained his Residency training in the USAF. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of The American College of Toxicology and several organizations related to stem cell research. He also received extensive training in the field of hyperbaric medicine and was a research flight surgeon for the USAF. Dr Bradstreet's interests are in the treatment of chronic disorders which underlie the mechanisms of aging, cancer, autoimmune disorders and childhood developmental disorders. He is widely published in the field of autism, oxidative stress, detoxification, viral diseases, mitochondrial disorders and chronic immune disorders. He is an adjunct professor of Pediatrics at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. *There is no charge to attend, however RSVP is required. RSVP to jackie.moore @ tacanow.org (no spaces). For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help people with autism be the best they can be.
