Insurance coverage for Autism?

I am looking for information on Autism treatment covered by insurance.

I live in Colorado and CO has a Autism Insurance Mandate requiring private

insurance companies cover Autism treatment! My sons Insurance policy originates

in GA (is NOT self-funded). As I understand things... GA does not have a State

Autism Insurance Mandate requiring private insurance companies cover Autism

treatment but something like this is in the works??? Does anyone have any info

about this?

Unfortunately you are correct. Georgia is not an insurance mandated state and unfortunately our legislative session has closed without any introduction or passage of a bill.
