The students at sander Academy could have LD, ADHD, processing or sensory issues, Aspergers Syndrome, autism spectrum disorders or cognitive challenges. They may have struggled to learn in more traditional settings. sander Academy provides academically rigorous and academic remediation programs that focus on the student as an individual learner. Our small school environment allows us to get to get to know each child's academic, social, emotional and sensory profile to help him or her to gain the skills needed for a successful, independent future. It also allows us to provide the social support to help our students make real social connections with their classmates, gain true friendships and feel the academic success we know they are capable of achieving. The goal with ALL students is to give them the skills and self confidence they need to reach their full potential. Elementary/Middle School - students in grades 2nd – 8th in an academically focused, full day program. Maximum class size is 8 students with one certified teacher per classroom. Students in these classrooms are no more than three grade levels behind and are able to be successful in a small group classroom environment. The goal for all students in these classes is to reach grade level academics and gain the skills and self confidence needed to be successful in an academically focused high school. ..$14,000 for parents that commit by 1/31/2011. $3,500 off !!! $15,500 for parents that commit by 3/31/2011. $2,000 off !!! $17,500 after 3/31/2011 for any remaining available slots. Middle School/High School remediation program **Ages 13-16 for the 2012-2013 school year** These classrooms will serve students ages 13 -21 who are in need of academic remediation and real world application of skills for a successful transition toward being an independent working adult. The maximum class size is 5 students with one certified teacher per classroom. Students in these classrooms must have basic 1st grade reading and math skills and be able to be independent in a classroom of 5 students and one teacher. Students who need a greater level of support will be considered on a case by case basis and are subject to additional fees to pay for staff to provide that support. $13,000 for parents that commit by 1/31/2011. $3,500 off!!! $14,500 for parents that commit by 3/31/2011. $2,000 off!!! $16,500 after 3/31/2011 for any remaining available slots.
