sander Academy is a small, fully accredited, non-profit school for students

with learning differences. The students at sander Academy could have LD,

ADHD, processing or sensory issues, Aspergers Syndrome, autism spectrum

disorders or cognitive challenges. They may have struggled to learn in more

traditional settings. sander Academy provides academically rigorous and

academic remediation programs that focus on the student as an individual

learner. Our small school environment allows us to get to get to know each

child's academic, social, emotional and sensory profile to help him or her to

gain the skills needed for a successful, independent future. It also allows us

to provide the social support to help our students make real social connections

with their classmates, gain true friendships and feel the academic success we

know they are capable of achieving. The goal with ALL students is to give them

the skills and self confidence they need to reach their full potential.

Elementary/Middle School - students in grades 2nd – 8th in an academically

focused, full day program. Maximum class size is 8 students with one certified

teacher per classroom. Students in these classrooms are no more than three

grade levels behind and are able to be successful in a small group classroom

environment. The goal for all students in these classes is to reach grade level

academics and gain the skills and self confidence needed to be successful in an

academically focused high school.
