My triplets were at the same school for Pre-K which was wonderful. In fact, my daughter with ASD ate lunch each day with her sister and her friend everyday in the cafeteria. One day she blew a kiss at her brother in the hallway. But, alas, she had to go to a different school for K. I have accepted it now and love both schools but it still pains me that they are apart. I think about how different it would be if my other two could see their sister everyday and their friends get to know her on a different level than they do now. Luckily, they will all get to join each other again in the 6th grade for middle school. It is exciting to think that I will get to drop them all off in the morning! My NT daugther already talks about getting to help

out in her sister's class in middle school and they are only in 2nd grade!

http://www.wsbtv. com/news/ 26808869/ detail.htmlThis is just shameful! I feel so bad for this child and her family.Arrested for pinching, are you kidding me. They wouldn't do that to anyone who wasn't disabled. I can't imagine them doing anything but winking if the star football player pinched a teacher. What's worse is that it is not even shocking that this happened considering how are our kids are treated. And if someone pinched a disabled kid they wouldn't have done anything.I wonder if the school system is trying to intimidate the family, it is soon time for IEPs after all.

This is so sad. The system that supports this is a continuous disappointment to those that need their assistance.Stacey ____________ _________ _________ __From: purpleasdhope <purpleasdhope@ yahoo.com>To: autism-georgia@ yahoogroups. comSent: Wed, February 9, 2011 7:46:38 PMSubject: child arrested!http://www.wsbtv. com/news/ 26808869/ detail.htmlThis is just shameful! I'm not trying to sound rude at all but us talking about it all on here and telling each other our frustrations with the system will never help on our behalf. We have to band together and have a really loud voice and let it be known we will not stand for this NO MORE!!! I am mad and my son hasn't started school yet. has me scared for him so I am willing to call the news station and voice my opinion will you do the same? All us parents CAN make a change.
