Guest guest
Okay, here we go. To get to a developmental pediatrician that takes Medicaid, you have to get a referral from your regular MD to the Autism Center at Spaulding Hospital in downtown ATL. They only take patients one day per week (Thursdays?), so the appointments are booked out 9 months. You can ask to be put on a call list, and if someone cannot come to their appt, they can slip you into the slot. Spaulding is part of CHOA. Dr. Rubin is the dev. pediatrician there, and there is a " team " of others that will work with your child as well. Dr. Rubin has private hours at his office at 776 Windsor Parkway in Atl. We have been using him for our children since 2002.W
