Guest guest
One of the primary factors that qualifies an ozone generator as " medical grade " is the lack of NOX (nitric oxide) in the output stream. This is usually accomplished by using pure oxygen and a cold process. I've been aware for some time of certain health benefits of nitric oxide. It performs many vital functions in human beings ranging from a neurotransmitter, to cardiovascular and sexual health. Many bodybuilders regularly use NOX boosting supplements and apparently it is quite safe. A brief outline of nox's physiological functions can be found here: http://www.absw.org.uk/Briefings/Nitric%20oxide.htm My question is, knowing that the non-medical grade ozone generators produce a very small amount of NOX, could this actually be beneficial for certain applications such as drinking water or sauna? Another question. In addition to a cold plasma medical generator, I have a regular corona discharge generator that has an inlet port for pure oxygen. If I use pure oxygen with this type will it produce pure ozone without NOX compounds? best
