Guest guest
I will try to learn more about transition programs as they currently exist in PS systems. I've wondered what the training consists of to become certified for that. Does anyone here know? It would be perfect if new Goals and Objectives were written at the end of 21 for a " 21-65 program " . Transition Staff would be able to give key insight into any problems with this idea. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could make great noise and convince the powers that be to rethink the exit age for specific types of individuals. Or, at 21, hand the young adults over to an eager local agency that has been built for 21-65. There is no acceptable excuse in terminating a program like they did on nne's daughter. Talk about taking the wind out of a sail. How discouraging.
