The Special-Needs Family

Panel members will be presenting information regarding:

Boomstein, Special Care Planner with HFG Financial and

D. O'Connor Jr., Attorney with Blankenship, Wiland & O'Connor, PC

Parenting a special needs child takes special planning. It can be hard to

imagine how the special needs child will manage without the parent or caregivers

who have been his or her mainstay. Will siblings or future guardians have the

resources and know-how to care for that special person in their lives?

This interactive workshop will provide you with:

· The person-centered planning process,

· What information you need to set up a special needs estate plan,

· The legal plan,

· Overview of Government Benefits, (Newly Added)

· Special Needs Trusts,

· Writing the " Letter of Intent " ,

· Financial strategies.

Participants have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with legal and financial

specialists, mingle with others who face similar challenges & share experiences,

information, and support.
