Guest guest
I googled cradle cap and scalp fungus etc....learned quite a bit...dandruff is actually a yeast condition.....but none of the pictures look like what is on my boys heads. They are four years old. About a week ago we got serious with the GSE and consistently have been giving them along with Cell Food supplement. No new foods or anything like that. No one else in the family has it. I didn't notice it yesterday. Last night I found it odd that they had removed their pajama tops during the night and had wet through their diapers. (these two do everything the same...even in their sleep!) I thought maybe they we overheated. This stuff has the color and consistency of ear wax. It looks like it has come from their hair follicles, almost like little waxy dot things. They have not scratched at it. I actually got it all off of and put the GSE right on his head. has not sat long enough for me to get all of his off. There is no dryness, inflammation or scales to speak of. I told my friend about it and she said maybe there is yeast or fungus being sweated out of their heads. (I thought that was funny---and maybe possible---because she is really not familiar with the yeast of viral die off talk) Well at any rate, I kept them home from a birthday party just in case. They have had a remarkable day otherwise! Another mystery. Re: OT Scalp fungus???? > Hi - > > How old are your twins? > Could it be cradle cap? Your description sounds like it to me. Guest guest
My daughter had the same thing happen as a toddler. If I'm remembering right it was cradle cap. We were told to scrap off as much as possible unless it caused discomfort then to apply baby oil to the spot. Not sure if baby oil is a bad thing to use this advice was given to us by a regular pediatrician not a DAN.mrsdougie89434 wrote: Hi -How old are your twins?Could it be cradle cap?
