Guest guest
was he on b12 when the urine turned red,......if so that can be b12 wasting Recovering from Autism is a marathon NOT a sprint, but FULLY possible! Read more about it on my Blogs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelking strange urinary symptoms I just wanted to run this by all of you since I've found this group tobe incredibly helpful. I have a friend whose son is on thespectrum...diagnosed with Asperger's. She is just starting toresearch biomedical treatments, but hasn't really started anything asof yet. He sees a DAN! doctor and has had labs conducted. As far as Iknow, not much has been abnormal with the labs (if only we were all solucky!) I think his oxalates are slightly high. Her son just startedhaving blood in his urine and frequent urination, but his pediatriciansaid that it is NOT a urinary tract infection. She said the samething happened two years ago and lasted for quite a few weeks thencleared up on its own. The only other biological symptom she hasobserved is that his ears turn bright red. I've heard other parentsmention this, but it's not something I've seen in my own son, so i'venever paid much attention to the cause of that. Obviously, she isconcerned, so if any of you have any input, I'd love to hear it Thanks much.Kari No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
Kari if its not B-12 its serious and the pediatrician needs to refer them to an appropriate specialist!! If not she should take her son into a good homeopath. What is the pediatrician doing about this? Guest guest
He is not on MB12. I made sure to ask her if she had started them because the injection was my first thought as well. The only biomedical intervention his mom has started with him is Epsom Salt baths. > > was he on b12 when the urine turned red,......if so that can be b12 wasting > Recovering from Autism is a marathon > NOT a sprint, but FULLY possible! > Read more about it on my Blogs at > http://www.myspace.com/christelking > strange urinary symptoms > > > I just wanted to run this by all of you since I've found this group to > be incredibly helpful. Guest guest
Nothing that I know of I think she sees the same group of pediatricians where I took my son when I suspected he had autism at 2. The doc we saw told us not to worry about it, he was fine. Just keep doing the OT we were already doing. (we took her advice and continued to struggle for 9 months not knowing that most doctors are CLUELESS!)So, I'm guessing if she doesn't know, she might be too cocky to make a referral. That seems to be her thing. I " m going to call the mom today and see if anything else has changed. Thanks so much for your help! Guest guest
Bright red years are a sign of allergies to dairies. I have an Aspie myself with the same symtoms. I really recommend doing the French test for heavy metals and the full autism panel. Something should come up...
