Alice,

When MB12 is compounded there typically is no preservative. That means that

components are free to age over time. Coastal has run testing on the stability

of MB12

and MB12 with folinic and the has been comfortable saying that it lasts 90 days.

They suggest it be refrigerated, but I personally have kept mine out for several

months

and it still worked for me. I have also kept some refrigerated for more than

year and those

bottles became clogged when I tried them (I wasn't going to use them, I just

wanted to see

what would happen). I also left a bottle of shots in the refrigerator for a

long time with

the same result.

My point is that the spray probably lasts three months in the fridge and

possibly similarly

as long out, but it certainly ages. If you were given a years supply and it is

compounded

the typical way, without a preservative... well if that were my spray I would

use anything

beyond 90 days assuming you refrigerate it.

MB12 in typically VERY gentle. Burning is not a typical effect and if my child

felt burning I

would not continue to use it and I would not use it past 90 days of getting it

either way.
