Valtrex and antivirals

My son is on Valtrex since May, had nice gains for awhile, but they

have really stopped now at 500 mg per day. How do I know when to stop

or that this is no longer working? He is not where he was, maybe it is

yeast, but not sure at this point. Has very little eye contact and

lost some converstaional speech and very spacey, not playing like he

was before.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
