Ring worm..viral or fungal or both??

Avery has been getting ring worm that is now spreading. Is that a viral

infection or a fungal

infection or both? How should I treat this?

Her topical anti fungal cream, Lotrimin, doesn't seem to make a difference after

4 weeks of

application and bandaids on the worst circle. I bought some tea tree oil and

some grapefruit

seed extract that tastes disgusting and she won't drink it even mixed into a cup

of non-

diluted apple juice (which I hate giving her because of the sugar). Should I

just scrap those

two and go with the three lac? I haven't bought it yet because she had her stool

tested by her

pediatrician and there was no yeast in it, but this ringworm is candida right?
