Guest guest
We just got my 4 1/2 yr. old son's second OATS test back. Definitely better than the first one, but I am concerned about the high methylmalonic acid which indicates b-12 deficiency. I have been doing the MB12 shots for about 6 months and just recently switched over to the spray because I wasn't seeing any improvements. Should I try just b-12 instead of the mb12? Is his body not absorbing the b-12? Oxalates are high and pyroglutamic acid is low. What is best for the low pyroglutamic acid? He has been on SCD for about a month now and I am supplementing zinc; but, he still has those dark circles under his eyes. I just read about the high copper/low zinc and it was helpful. I hope the zinc and Vit.C help balance that out. He gets 1/2 tsp. of zinc a day. His iron was also very low. We are trying to get him healthy so we can chelate. Any info. is appreciated. Thanks!
