I know of a Dad who has done considerable research on trying Namenda

with his PANDAS/Aspie son, whom I believe is about 19 years old. Last

I heard he finally had physician support for it. I'll put a query out

there in the PANDAS group and see if he responds. Please keep the rest

of us updated on how your guy does on it.

This is interesting. We have not used it. What is if any, its relationship to glutathione production.

My son has been tested to have high glutamate and glutamic acid. I just had this discussion with my DAN doc too. He said he would be willing to try it as it would help with the excitotoxicity of elevated glutamate.

He looks in better control, but it's been only five days. The school's sending

great reports.

I've seen a huge improvements after chelations, so it's hard to say.

I wants to tapper it to 10 at this point..

Sally,

It's a yahoo group called PANDAS_support. Not nearly the exchange of

information that you see in this group. Most of the kid represented

are classic PANDAS and alot of parents there have significant

success with antibiotic therapy. Almost no talk of biomed treatment,

yet the majority of parents in the group have a kid on the ASD.
