We recently found 4+ strep and 3+ ecoli after doing the gut biofilm protocol under Usman and staff. They are using a berberine (plus other antibacterials) tinture that they formulated at true health and have compounded for them. It is working very well for our son. Bottom line is that what is working is: berberine, homeopathic antibiotics, xylitol, oil of oregano, and oregon grape root.

Good luck! Our son was a BEAR while infected with bacteria!

Could you explain more about the gut biofilm protocol? Our DAN wants

to try this and I can't find much info. on it.

I hate this, but I am not sure what I am *allowed* to explain!!! I signed a consent when we embarked on the protocol not to divulge details of the protocol on email forums. I think because it is in its infancy and is still experimental, Dr. Usman doesn't want Moms and Dads providing guidance on something that is not 100% figured out. I have an appt. on the 24th with her and I will get more specifics on what I can and cannot explain on these boards regarding the protocol.

I can tell you that it is working very well for our son. We have been in biomed for 3 years and this is the first thing that has brought all around benefits for our son. However....it has been a slippery path that has required me to work VERY closely with the RN at true health. It is not something I personally would ever do without very careful direction (like 3 times a week) by a DAN! practice who really knows what the protocol is and all of the twists and turns it calls for. We have switched gears many times as his body reacts to the protocol.

I am sorry to not be able to write details...I hope I will get a green light to help more than this in the future. But I just am not sure...Hopefully your DAN! really knows the protocol and can explain it to you!

Oh, really, maybe that's why no-one mentions much on this. My DAN

said she was working with Usman on this and that we were to try it on

my son, but wondering if we should and what's involved. And now I'm

wondering if she really knows the protocol and if we should even try

something like this. I know it is a lot of steps and different

things to cleanse the gut, but that's it.
