Guest guest
That is the route we're taking in a month and a half. But I thought if there was something to do in the mean time we'd give it a try. I don't remember hearing anyone talk about the diptheria before. Thanks so much for your help. It's good to know that others have done something similar. Guest guest
Hi : I was wondering how you pinpointed the diptheria as creating a problem. There are different ways to do it with homeopathy. One, the classical route would be to treat as symptoms show up. In my son's case he got violently sick and I took him into the EAV naturopath and gave the remedy that came up on the machine. It was Merc Cyan for my son but it could be different for different kids since I *think* it would depend on how it would manifest and present in that individual child. I recall following up the 5-6 day fever/ sickness with at least 2 more remedies after that. There is a book called Homeopathic Vade Mecum by E H Ruddock where the common ailments are described and the homeopathic acutes are listed alongside. However, you give the acute to match the symptoms that the child will present during an acute illness and it would be best to consult with a homeopath maybe even over the phone before you do that for something as dangerous as diptheria. It was really scary in my son. Even our naturopath was looking very worried. Here is a link to the Vade Mecum, you can read the table of contents - its an old text. http://www.minimum.com/b.asp?a=vade-mecum-ruddock Outside of the classical way, you can treat diptheria by sequential homeopathy but I don't know much about how that works. Another place that looks really promising for autism was this referral by Anju Usman to a Coyle, they are in Brooklyn, NY and do homeopathy and EAV assessment and more as per the website. http://www.childrensexcelcenter.com/ Where are you planning to treat at? Guest guest
I went back and looked at my Vade Mecum to remember the order in which I gave the remedies for diptheria. Just in case. 1.Began with Merc Cyan - gave in 6C or 12 C but did have to go to 30C 2. Followed with Kali Bichrom 6C but after 2 doses or so went to 30 C, then later 200 C (he had that long stringy mucus coming out of his mouth and a terrible whoopy cough) 3. Then when symptoms changed I gave Gelsamium, maybe it was a 30C or might have been 200C I don't remember. 4. Finally Sulphur, began with 6 C or 12 C and then went upto 30C. For a while I could not decide if he needed Sulphur iodide or just Sulphur. The whole sickness lasted about a week. When it began my son was shaking and trembling, almost convulsing, he could not focus his eyes, could not stand any light, and was very hot to touch. If you look at the Vade Mecum, the Merc Cyan and the Kali-Bich are listed under Malignant Diptheria. The Gels and the Sulphur are under Sequelae. There are other remedies on there for both these categories as well as Mild Cases. You need to treat the disease carefully to prevent a relapse. Therefore the need for a naturopath with an EAV or a homeopath. Gayatri PS Defeats the purpose of the vaccination if you are left wiping up the mess as well as taking care of the autism. > > > > I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that would help a child > > harmed by the diptheria part of the dpt vaccine. Guest guest
Have you tried NAET? One of the items my son was cleared for was DTaP vaccine -- which is what I suspect caused his terrible constipation. > > > > I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that would help a child > > harmed by the diptheria part of the dpt vaccine.
