Guest guest
We are starting TMG. Last Monday we gave 1/2 a 125 mg tab. She was already on 400mcg. folic acid but was also taking 4-1mg. MB12 sublinguals a day, 2 a.m., 2 after nap. I had to wake her from her nap for a therapy and I felt trembling throughout her body for a few minutes. Not steady, but it was enough to make me wonder. It was NOT a seizure, I'm not worried about that. (Could have been just because she was trying to wake.) I actually wondered if she was over-methylated a bit. On the plus side, she looked " clearer " (I hope someone understands that) and she was way more verbal & focused. We decided to stop and try again on the weekend, meanwhile boosting folic acid to 800 mcg. and backing off on 1 mg. of the MB12. Started again on Saturday and so far, so good. Another thing I noticed then and now is we've had a couple poops that smelled like anti-freeze. No kidding. I thought I was smelling a car and then realized she needed a change. Any thoughts? Could this be a clue to the methylation? I did look up side effects of over-methylation and they're severe enough I'd think I'd notice for sure.
