Yes, it's normal die off behavior.  The hyperactivity should slow down soon, too.  You will see die off again when you start antivirals, too.  CherylHi All!We started our son on 100 mg./per day of Nizoral. The first three days on Nizoral were pure hell. Is this the typical reaction? Our son was stimmy beyond belief and pretty non-complient. He seemed really angry. We are now on day four and it seems like the super stimmy/aggressive behavior is subsiding. I don't see any gains yet, but he is less stimmy. Is this the usual course of things with Nizoral? I am thinking that the odd behavior/stimming was actually a sign that he was/is responding to the therapy. Am I right? We have been giving him epsom salt baths and activated charcoal and it seemed to help with the aggressive part of the stimmy behaviors, but did nothing for the extra energy he had.We are planning on starting Valtrex within the next week or so. Is this usually a time of pure hell as well? Thanks!
