My 9 year old has asd, adhd, and pandas. We have sent out all our tests thru our DAN, and are waiting for results. In the interim, I started Jake on CLO, vit D, enzymes, lipase, and zinc. All done one at a time ,small dosages. The CLO was first and he was very aggitated from it. Everything has made him stimmy and moody even some yelling. During this time Jake also had a rash on his butt, down the back of his legs (pox looking) and a small cold sore on his lip. His symptoms looked like a pandas/pitands response. He definitely had viral symptoms even a slight cough. I think the supplements were making him additionally aggitated. We did a 5 day antibiotic (zitromax) and he did improve. I removed all the supplements except the zinc it's the only one he did fine with. I think he did have a slight virus but I know the supplements were making it worse. Jake is gfcf for 3months which was a miracle initially and then he leveled off. He is a

virus, yeast kid I'm sure. The test results should confirm this. What could the problem be with these basic supplements? I feel like we're in a holding pattern and we can't take off in a particular direction. Any advice appreciated!

My son is VERY like yours, we´ve also removed his supps and he did

better, I´m not sure why yet, I think he prob didn´t need many of

them or also an ellergy issue. There´s nothing inocuos in our

children.

After removing sups we focused on bacteria and yeast, we did a long

term round of flagyl to treat clostridia and ketoconazole, later we

added eritro to keep strep low, now we finished flagyl and added

valtrex, he is doing fine so far. We could add antioxidant stuff

with no problem (CoQ10, glutatione, carnosine) then Vit B, normal

dose and Vit C, then multimineral and zinc but not CLO.

His skin is perfect now, he is rash, eczema, cracked toes, moluscus

and impetigus free, first time in a year probably I don´t believe it.

He is doing great, very happy and interactive, sometimes a little

moody or stimmy, but I´m suspicious on neurotransmiters and prob

also diet, he craves for meat, very picky.
